Risks you accept by playing or hosting

• Custody. Funded drops are held in a hot wallet controlled by this server. If the server is hacked, misconfigured or shut down, tokens in the vault could be lost. Only fund what you are prepared to lose, and claim finds promptly.
• Finality. Cardano transactions can't be reversed. A drop collected by another player is theirs. We can't recover assets sent to a wrong address or network.
• Value. Tokens and NFTs can lose some or all of their value. Nothing in NFT Metaverse is investment advice, and drops are not promises of value.
• Third parties. NFT Metaverse relies on wallet extensions, Koios or Blockfrost, IPFS gateways and the Cardano network. Their outages or errors are outside our control.
• Metadata. Token names and images come from on-chain metadata and hosts' clients. A token can look like another. Check policy IDs before trusting a name.
• Software. NFT Metaverse is provided as is, may contain bugs, and may change or stop at any time.

Terms of use

Eligibility

You must be at least [18] years old and allowed to use digital assets where you live. You may not use NFT Metaverse if you are in [restricted jurisdictions] or on a sanctions list.

Hosting

When you fund drops you confirm you own the assets and have the right to give them away. You are responsible for any promotion, giveaway or tax rules that apply to your hunt. We may remove drops or hunts with offensive names or images, spam, or assets we believe are fraudulent, and return funded amounts to the host's balance where we can.

Fair play

Don't use bots, modified clients, speed hacks, multiple accounts to farm drops, or anything that interferes with the server. We may refuse pickups, freeze balances pending review, or ban addresses that break these rules. [Describe your appeals process.]

Fees

Network fees are paid to the Cardano network, not to us. [If CLAIM_FEE_LOVELACE is set: we charge a service fee of [amount] ADA per claim, shown before you sign.]

Unclaimed balances

Liability

Privacy

NFT Metaverse doesn't use accounts, email addresses or tracking cookies.

• What the server stores: your wallet address, your balances in the game ledger, your drops and pickups with times and positions, transactions you build and submit, and the name, colour and NFT image link you choose for your avatar. Logs include IP addresses for rate limiting and security [for N days].
• What other players see: your avatar name, image, colour and position while you're online, and hunt names you create. Hosts' addresses are attached to their drops.
• What stays in your browser: your avatar and style choices, settings, sandbox drops and cached token metadata (local storage and IndexedDB). Clear site data to remove them.
• Third parties: your browser fetches wallet data from Koios and images from IPFS gateways and other hosts, which can see your IP address. Fonts load from Google Fonts. The 3D engine loads from jsDelivr.
• Public by nature: anything on the Cardano blockchain, including deposits and claims, is public and permanent.
